OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE
IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE POLICE SERVICES
FORT COLLINS DRUNK DRIVING ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins
permits the City Council to appropriate by ordinance unanticipated revenue which
is the result of rate or fee increases or new revenue sources at any time during
the year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS, Council has approved Resolution 93-152, authorizing the execution
of an intergovernmental agreement between the City and the State Department of
Transportation providing funds for the Fort Collins Drunk Driving Enforcement
Program; and
WHEREAS, the City expects to receive grant funds in 1994 in the amount of
$75,000 to be used to support the Fort Collins Drunk Driving Enforcement Program;
and
WHEREAS, the City's share of matching funds in the amount of $96,244 is
included in the 1994 Proposed Police Services budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that upon receipt by the City of the above-referenced SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND
DOLLAR ($75,000) grant from the State of Colorado, there is hereby appropriated
from unanticipated grant revenue the sum of SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
($75,000) for expenditure in the General Fund for the Police Services Drunk
Driving Enforcement Program.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 19th day of October A.D. 1993, and to be presented for,14f@l passage on the
2nd day of November, A.D. 1993.
