OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE
TRANSPORTATION DIVISION FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received at
any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, the North Front Range Transportation and Air Quality Planning
Council (NFRT&AQPC) is responsible for conducting transportation planning
activities within the urbanized areas of Fort Collins and Greeley; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins is the designated administrative
entity of the NFRT&AQPC; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins will be reimbursed 87. 1% for
transportation planning expenditures by the Colorado Department of Highways
and the cities of Greeley and Fort Collins will be responsible for 12.9% of
their respective expenditures; and,
WHEREAS, these funds will be used to fund transportation planning
activities in the Fort Collins and Greeley urbanized areas between November
1, 1988 and December 31, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins in its administrative role of the
NFRT&AQPC will serve as a conduit for the passing of funds to the City of
Greeley.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
unanticipated revenue in the Transportation Division fund, the sum of
Forty-two Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-eight Dollars ($42,578) for
transportation planning projects in the Fort Collins and Greeley urbanized
areas.

final passage on the 15th day of November, A. 8 .
