OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING SECTION 26-514(3)(b)
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
RELATING TO THE DETERMINATION OF STORMWATER UTILITY FEES
WHEREAS, Section 26-514 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins provides for the
determination of rates and the establishment of Stormwater Utility fees by the Water Utilities
General Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City's Storm Drainage Board has reviewed the proposed 1997 budget and
recommends that Section 514(3)(b) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be amended to increase
the Dry Creek stormwater basin fee; and
WHEREAS, such increase is necessary in order to more accurately reflect the City's costs
of providing stormwater services to its customers in the Dry Creek basin; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that it is therefore, in the
best interests of the City that the aforesaid adjustment be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That, effective January 1, 1997, Section 26-514(3)(b) of the Code of the City of
Fort Collins is hereby amended as follows:
Sec. 26-514. Determination of stormwater utility fee.
(3) The base rate for the stormwater utility fee shall be as follows:
