OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE
IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE CLEAN AIR COLORADO PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Council passed the Air Quality Action Plan for the purpose of implementing
strategies that will improve air quality in Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the Clean Air Colorado Program is consistent with the goals and objectives
called out in the Air Quality Action Plan; and
WHEREAS, as part of the Clean Air Colorado Program, the City receives an annual
monetary award from the Slate to implement air quality education, special projects, and data
collection; and
WHEREAS, for the 1996-1997 Clean Air Colorado program the City will receive a State
grant in the amount of$27,000 to implement a variety of air quality projects consistent with the Air
Quality Action Plan; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14,of the Chatter of the City of Fori Collins permits the City
Council to appropriate by ordinance unanticipated revenue which is the result of rats or fee increases
or new revenue sources at any time during the year in which such revenue is received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TI IE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated grant revenue in the General Fund
the sutra of TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($27,000), for expenditure upon receipt
in the General Fund for air quality education, special projects, and data collection.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 6th day of
August, A.D. 1996, and to be presented for final passage on the clay of August, A.D
