OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE LONG-TERM LEASE OF PROPERTY AT THE
FORT COLLINS-LOVELAND MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN AIRCRAFT HANGAR
WHEREAS, the Cities of Loveland and Fort Collins jointly own and operate the Fort
Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, the Cities have set aside a portion of the airport property for lease to parties
desiring to conduct aeronautical activities and support activities at the airport; and
WHEREAS, Dale Matsuka has indicated a desire to lease a portion of airport property,
described as follows and hereinafter referred to below as "the Lot", for the construction and
maintenance of an aircraft hangar:
All that portion of the northeast quarter of Section 33, Township 6 North, Range 68
West of the 6th P.M., Larimer County, Colorado, more particularly described as
follows:
Considering the east line of said northeast quarter of Section 33 as bearing SOUTH
009I'l5" EAST and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto.
Commencing at the northeast corner of said Section 33; Thence along said east line
of the northeast quarter of Section 33 SOUTH 00°31'l5" EAST 543.05 feet; Thence
leaving said east line SOUTH 89°28'45" WEST H 90.05 to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING; Thence NORTH 20°03'59" WEST 60.00 feet; Thence NORTH
69056'01" EAST 60.00 feet; Thence SOUTH 20°03'59" EAST 60.00 feet; Thence
SOUTH 69056'01" WEST 60.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Said portion contains 3600 square feet, more or less.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a long term lease of the Lot to Dale
Matsuka under the terms and conditions of that certain lease form entitled "Lease Agreement by
and between the Cities of Loveland and Fort Collins, Colorado and Dale Matsuka" which is on file
of the City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado.
Introduced and considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this 21 st day of
April, A.D. 1998, and to be presented for final passage on the 5th day ,af-may, A.D. 199
