HomeMy WebLinkAbout237 - 01/05/1999 - ZONING ARAPAHO BEND 1ST ANNEXATION ORDINANCE NO. 237, 1998 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AND CLASSIFYING FOR ZONING PURPOSES THE PROPERTY INCLUDED IN THE ARAPAHO BEND 1 ST ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO WHEREAS, Division 1.3 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins establishes the Zoning Map and Zone Districts of the City; and WHEREAS, Division 2.8 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins establishes procedures and criteria for reviewing the zoning of land; and WHEREAS,in accordance with the foregoing,the Council has considered the zoning of the property which is the subject of this ordinance,and has determined that the said property should be zoned as hereafter provided. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1. That the Zoning Map of the City of Fort Collins adopted pursuant to Section 1.3.2 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended by including the property known as the Arapaho Bend 1 st Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, in the Public Open Lands (POL) Zone District, which property is more particularly described as situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to wit: A TRACT OF LAND SITUATE IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 33,AND THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 34,TOWNSHIP7NORTH,RANGE68 WESTANDTHE NORTHWEST QUARTEROF SECTION 3 TOWNSHIP 6NORTH,RANGE 68 WESTOFTHE6TH P.M.,COUNTY OF LARIMER,STATE OF COLORADO,WHICH CONSIDERING THE SOUTH LINE OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 33 AS BEARING S89°46'03"EAND WITH ALL BEARINGS CONTAINED HEREIN RELATIVE THERETO I S CONTAINED WITHIN THE BOUDARY LINES WHICH BEGIN AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID SECTION 33,SAID POINT BEING THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, AND A POINT ON THE STUTE ANNEXATION NO.2 TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, THENCE ALONG SAID ANNEXATION SO 1 059'27"E 51.01 FEET,THENCE,N890 55'40"E 30.02 FEETTO POINT ON THE EASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY OF COUNTY ROAD NO.7,THENCE ALONG SAID EASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY NOI059'20"W 50.86 FEET, THENCE CONTINUING ALONG SAID RIGHT- OF-WAY N00009'27"W 2646.20 FEET, THENCE N89°44'21"W 30.00 FEET TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 33, THENCE N89044'21"W 30.00 FEET TO THE WESTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY OF COUNTY ROAD NO.7, THENCE ALONG SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY S00009'27"E 1323.34 FEET,THENCE N89°45'16"W 1752.67 FEET TO A POINT ON THE HARMONY ANNEXATION NOA TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, THENCE ALONG SAID ANNEXATION S33°01'03"E 400.00 FEET, AND AGAIN S37031'03"E 200.00 FEET AND AGAIN S22046'03"E 500.00 FEET AND AGAIN S18006'03"E 216.57 FEET TO A POINT ON THE STUTE ANNEXATION NO.1 TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS THENCE ALONG SAID ANNEXATION AND THE STUTE ANNEXATIONS NO.2 AND 3 TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS N84031'15"E 115.37 FEET, AND AGAIN S89046'03"E 400.00 FEET,AND AGAIN S85°03'18"E 201.00 FEET,AND AGAIN S88°33'03"E 470.40 FEET, AND AGAIN S00°09'27"E 150.01 FEET, TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; CONTAINING 41.0948 ACRES MORE OR LESS. Section 2. That the Sign District Map adopted pursuant to Section 3.8.7(E) of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins be,and the same hereby is, changed and amended by showing that the above-described property is included in the Residential Neighborhood Sign District. Section 3. That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to amend said Zoning Map in accordance with this Ordinance.
