OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE
CULTURAL SERVICES & FACILITIES FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 7, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins
authorizes the City Council to provide by ordinance for payment of any expense
from reserves accumulated in prior years notwithstanding that such reserves were
not appropriated for expenditure in the annual appropriation ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Cultural Services & Facilities Fund had savings from the
Lincoln Center at the end of 1992; and
WHEREAS, these savings are accounted for in the Cultural Services &
Facilities Fund, Lincoln Center Unreserved Fund Balance; and
WHEREAS, the Lincoln Center is requesting the use of these savings for
items that will enhance present service deliveries as well as ensure that current
service levels are maintained; and
WHEREAS, said items include equipment needed to open a Box Office at the
Foothills Fashion Mall and replacement tables, chairs and chair cushions used for
trade shows and banquets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year reserves in the
Cultural Services & Facilities Fund the sum of TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED
SIX DOLLARS (E29,406) to be used for satellite Box Office equipment and
replacement of tables, chairs, chair cushions and other equipment for the Lincoln
Center.
Introduced, considered favorable on first reading, and ordered published
this 6th day of July, A.D. 1993, and to be presented for final passage on the
20th day of July, A.D. 1993. 7
