HomeMy WebLinkAbout049 - 06/01/1993 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE TRANSPORTATION FUND ORDINANCE NO. 49, 1993 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE TRANSPORTATION DIVISION PORTION OF THE TRANSPORTATION FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins (the "Charter") authorizes the City Council to appropriate unanticipated revenues which are the result of new revenue sources at any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution 93-68 on June 1, 1993, authorizing the City to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the Colorado State Department of Transportation for the receipt of Surface Transportation Program (STP) funds to provide for a bicycle striping/signage project; and WHEREAS, the City anticipates receiving $106,675 in STP funds to be used for a bicycle striping/signage project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that upon the City's receipt of the sum of ONE HUNDRED SIX THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($106,675) in Surface Transportation Program (STP) funds from the Colorado State Department of Transportation, said sum is appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue in the "Transportation Division" portion of the Transportation Fund to provide for a bicycle striping/signing project.
