OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING CHAPTER 26 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY
BY THE ADOPTION OF A MASTER DRAINAGE PLAN
FOR THE OLD TOWN DRAINAGE BASIN AND BY
ADOPTING FEES THEREFOR
WHEREAS, the Old Town Master Drainage Basin Plan, dated January 7, 1993
(the "Plan") , has been reviewed by the Storm Drainage Board and has been
recommended by the Board for approval by the City Council ; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins considers it to be in the
best interests of the citizens of the City that the Plan be adopted and
incorporated into the Code of the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, there exists within the Old Town Master Drainage Basin an area in
which the surface waters do not contribute to Master Planned Facilities for the
Old Town Drainage Basin, which area is known as the "Old Town North Tributary
Subbasin"; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the fees for the Old Town North
Tributary Subbasin should not include costs associated with the construction of
the Old Town Basin Master Planned Facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Council does further consider it to be in the best interests
of the citizens of the City that the Code of the City be amended to include storm
drainage basin and utility fees for the aforesaid Old Town Master Drainage Basin,
including fees for the Old Town North Tributary Subbasin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1. That Section 26-543(a) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
be amended by the addition of a new subparagraph (11) as follows:
Sec. 26-543. Master drainage plans.
(11) Old Town Master Drainage Basin Plan, prepared by
Resource Consultants & Engineers, Inc. , dated January 7,
1993.
Section 2. That Section 26-512(3) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
be amended by the addition of a new basin and basin fee base rate as follows:

Section 3. That Section 26-514(3) (b) of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be amended by the addition of a new basin and capital improvement base
rate as follows:
