OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 179, 1993, FOR
THE PURPOSE OF CONTINUING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF
SAID ORDINANCE UNTIL JUNE 30, 1995
WHEREAS, on December 21, 1993, the Council of the City of Fort Collins enacted
Emergency Ordinance No. 179, 1993 ("Ordinance No. 179"),which increased certain minimum lot
area requirements for one-family and two-family dwellings in the N-C-M Neighborhood
Conservation Medium Density Zoning District; and
WHEREAS, Section 4 of said Ordinance No. 179 provided that it shall continue in effect
until December 31, 1994, or until supplemental "design criteria" are adopted by the City Council for
implementation of the plans, whichever shall first occur; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 180, 1994, the Council extended the effective date of
Ordinance No. 179, 1993, to May 31, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the provisions of Ordinance No. 179 should
remain in effect through June 30, 1995, in order to afford the staff of the City additional time to
prepare and present to the Council the anticipated supplemental "design criteria"; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this Ordinance is to amend Section 4 of Ordinance No. 179 to
continue its effect until June 30, 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Section 4 of Ordinance No. 179 be and hereby is amended to read as follows:
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall continue in effect through the 30th day
of June, 1995, or until supplemental "design criteria" are adopted by the City Council
for implementation of the Plans, whichever shall first occur, at which time the
amendment enacted pursuant hereto shall become null and void and the language of
Section 29-167 of the Code shall read in its entirety as it did immediately prior to this
amendment.
