OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING SECTION 2-182(a) OF THE CODE OF THE
CITY OF FORT COLLINS RELATING TO MEMBERSHIP
OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT COMMISSION
WHEREAS, on September 4, 1990,the City Council adopted on second reading Ordinance
No. 98, 1990 creating the Community Development Block Grant Commission (the"Commission");
and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 98, 1990 established that the Commission shall consist of
thirteen (13) members; and
WHEREAS, the Commission, at its March 13, 1995 meeting, voted unanimously to
recommend that the City Council reduce the membership of the Commission from thirteen (13)
members to eleven (11) members; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to accommodate the Commission's request to reduce the
membership of the Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Section 2-182(a) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be amended as follows:
See. 2-182. Membership; term.
(a) The commission shall consist of eleven (11) members appointed by the City
Council, including persons of low and moderate income who are residents of slum
and blight areas and/or are residents of the low- and moderate-income neighborhood
strategy areas that have been 'Identified by the city.

April, A.D. 1995, and to be presented for final passage on the 2n4 dq of May, A.D. 1995.
