HomeMy WebLinkAbout050 - 04/19/1994 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND FOR RELOCATION OF CUNNINGHAM CORNER ORDINANCE NO. 50, 1994 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND FOR RELOCATION OF THE CUNNINGHAM CORNER BARN WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins (the "Charter") authorizes the City Council to appropriate unanticipated revenues which are the result of new revenue sources at any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution 93-113 on July 6, 1993, which determined that it was in the best interest of the citizens of Fort Collins to move the Cunningham Corner Barn (the "Barn") to private property, and the relocation of the Barn would be funded from the Historic Preservation project within the Capital Projects Fund; and WHEREAS, the City applied for a grant of $5,000 from the State Historic Preservation Fund to offset the costs of relocating the Barn; and WHEREAS, said grant was approved and the contract was executed on February 28, 1994. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that upon the City'.-- receipt of the sum of FIVE THOUSAND- DOLLARS- (-35,000) in Historic Preservation Funds from the State Historic Preservation Fund, said sum is appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue in the Capital Projects Fund, Historic Preservation project, to offset expenses of relocating the Cunningham Corner Barn. Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 5th day of April , A.D. 1994, and to be presented for final passage n the 19th day of April , A.D. 1994.
