OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ANNEXING PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE
WILLOW SPRINGS ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, Resolution 94-10, finding substantial compliance and initiating
annexation proceedings, has heretofore been adopted by the Council of the City
of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the Council does hereby find and determine that it is in the best
interests of the City to annex said area to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1. That the following described property, to wit:
Two tracts of land situate in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 6, and in
the Northeast 1/4 of Section 7, Township 6 North, Range 68 West of
the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado, which considering the East
line of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 6 as bearing N 00024'30"
W and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto which are
more particularly described as follows:
Tract "A": Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Section 6 and
run thence N OU"I4'30" W 1585-.7T feet along the said East line to a
point on the centerline of an existing drain ditch; thence along
said centerline, N 80°21'10" W 1957.29 feet to a point on the
Easterly right-of-way line of the Union Pacific Railroad; thence S
14030'38" W 2044.48 feet along the said Easterly right-of-way line
to a point on the centerline of the Mail Creek Ditch; thence along
the said centerline, N 89°20'26" E 392.28 feet and again S 88°50'46"
E 240.69 feet and again S 66°50'47" E 59.31 feet and again S
51035'44" E 82.11 feet and again S 45955'33" E 73. 12 feet and again
S 44027'07" E 35.54 feet and again S 30°58'21" E 74.95 feet and
again S 09026'27" E 104.01 feet and again S 23007'05" E 41.74 feet
and again S 53004'49" E 62.65 feet and again S 74°24'52" E 366.66
feet and again S 67°40'49" E 227.28 feet and again S 56016'34" E
148.84 feet and again S 69013'20" E 568.27 feet and again S
55°11'17" E 82.45 feet and again S 52°05'50" E 278.70 feet to a
point on the East line of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 7;
thence N 00°12'47" W 1146.65 feet along the said East line to the
point of beginning, containing 116.9391 acres more or less and being
subject to a right-of-way for Timberline Road over the East 310-.OU
feet thereof and to a right-of-way for the Mail Creek Ditch as it
now exists.
Tract "B" : Beginning at the South 1/4 corner of said Section 6 and
run thence N 00021'27" W 1314.63 feet along the West line of the
Southeast 1/4 of said Section 6 to the Northwest corner of the
Southwest 1/4 of the said Southeast 1/4; thence N 89'41'50" E 352.17
feet along the North line of the Southwest 1/4 of the said Southeast
1/4 to a point on the Westerly right-of-way line of the Union
Pacific Railroad; thence S 14"30'38" W 1359.82 feet along the
Westerly right-of-way line to a point on the South line of the
Southeast 1/4 of said Section 6; thence S 89°36'56" W 3.25 feet
along the said South line to the point of beginning, containing
5.3632 acres more or less,
be, and hereby is, annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said
City, to be known as the Willow Springs Annexation.
Section 2. That, in annexing said property to the City, the City does not
assume any obligation respecting the construction of water mains, sewer lines,
gas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities in
connection with the property hereby annexed except as may be provided by the
ordinances of the City.
Section 3. That the City hereby consents, pursuant to Section
37-45-136(3.6), C.R.S. , to the inclusion of said property into the Municipal
Subdistrict-, Northern- Colorado- Water Conservancy District.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 15th day of March, A.D. 1994, and to be pres ed or fina ss 'e on the
5th day of April , A.D. 1994.
