HomeMy WebLinkAbout041 - 05/01/1990 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE FEDERAL AID TO URBAN SYSTEMS (FAUS) FUND ORDINANCE NO. 41, 1990 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE FEDERAL AID TO URBAN SYSTEMS (FAUS) FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits the City Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue at any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution 90-53 on April 17, 1990, authorizing the existing intergovernmental agreement between the City of Fort Collins and the State Department of Highways of the State of Colorado allocating $450,000 of Federal Aid to Urban Systems (FAUS) money to project MG 5000(9), be amended to increase the project total by $86,000 to $536,000; and WHEREAS, FAUS funds are available for the increase to the MG 5000(9) project and the Department of Highways has approved the said change order; and WHEREAS, the City will use the additional $86,000 to provide for the installation of one new traffic signal , one school crossing signal and the upgrade of one traffic signal . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, that there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in the Federal Aid to Urban Systems (FAUS) Fund the sum of EIGHTY-SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS ($86,000) to provide for additional traffic signalization projects as part of the existing FAUS Project MG 5000(9) .
