OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE
CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS FROM THE STREET
OVERSIZING FUND TO THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, the City wishes to close out the Centre for Advanced
Technology Special Improvement District No. 90; and
WHEREAS, appropriations totalling $39,581 are needed in the Capital
Projects Fund to cover additional street oversizing costs incurred in
completing the Centre for Advanced Technology Special Improvement District
No. 90; and
WHEREAS, under Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of
Fort Collins, the Council , may, by ordinance, upon the recommendation of
the City Manager, transfer any unexpended appropriated amount or portion
thereof from one fund to another, provided that the purpose for the initial
expenditure no longer exists; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the $39,581 be
transferred from the Street Oversizing Fund to the Capital Projects Fund to
cover the additional street oversizing costs; and
WHEREAS, it is no longer anticipated that the expenditure of the
appropriated funds will occur from the Street Oversizing Fund so that the
purpose of the initial appropriation into that fund no longer exists; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15 of the Charter also authorizes the City
Council to appropriate by ordinance unanticipated revenue received as a
result of new revenue sources at anytime during the year; and
WHEREAS, the City has received $19,388, a direct contribution from a
property owner within the said Special Improvement District, to be used for
street improvements within the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1 . That the unexpended appropriated amount of THIRTY-NINE
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED EIGHTY ONE DOLLARS ($39,581) be authorized for
transfer from the Street Oversizing Fund to the Capital Project Fund for
the Centre for Advanced Technology Special Improvement District No. 90
capital project.
Section 2. That there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated
revenue in the Capital Projects Fund the sum of NINETEEN THOUSAND THREE
HUNDRED EIGHTY EIGHT DOLLARS ($19,388) for street improvements associated
with the Centre for Advanced Technology Special Improvement District No.
90.
