OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE
GENERAL FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS
TO THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins authorizes the City Council to provide by ordinance for payment of
any expense from reserves accumulated in prior years, notwithstanding that
such reserves were not appropriated for expenditures in the annual
appropriation ordinance; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 89-166 funds are needed to hire a
consultant to develop a strategic plan for the Fort Collins-Loveland
Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the General Fund Undesignated
reserves.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1 . That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
undesignated prior year reserves in the General Fund the sum of TWENTY
SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($27,500) for transfer to the Capital
Projects Fund.
Section 2. That TWENTY SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($27,500)
is authorized for transfer from the General Fund to the Capital Projects
Fund and appropriated therein to hire a consultant to develop a strategic
plan for the Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 20th day of February, A.D. 1990, and to be presented for
final passage on thel3th day of March, A.D. 19150.
