OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS
FROM THE LIGHT & POWER, WATER, WASTEWATER & STORMWATER
UTILITY FUNDS TO THE COMMUNICATIONS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to transfer unexpended, appropriated amounts
from one fund to another; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 126, 1988 authorized the Purchasing Agent to
enter into a Lease/Purchase Agreement with Northern Telecom Finance
Corporation for an amount not to exceed $245,000 to upgrade the City's
telephone system; and
WHEREAS, There exists a special need for additional telephone
equipment for the various "Utilities" as relates to the Customer Service
System; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the funds for this financing are available in
various Utility Funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the sum of FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($40,000) , is hereby
appropriated for transfer from the following funds:
Light and Power Utility $23,532
Water Utility 5,524
Wastewater Utility 5,524
Stormwater Utility 5,420
TOTAL $40,000
to the Communications Fund for upgrade costs to the City's telephone
system.
