OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING SECTION 29-494(2) OF THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS RELATING TO
REQUIRED PARKING SPACES
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
dwelling units containing four (4) or more bedrooms in multi -family
structures impose additional parking requirements not presently adequately
addressed in the Code; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that Section 29-494(2) of the Code
should be amended to address the parking impacts of such dwelling units.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Section 29-494(2) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is
hereby amended to read as follows:
(2) For each multifamily dwelling there shall be parking spaces
as indicated by the following schedule (any fractions, after
aggregation, shall be rounded up to the nearest whole) :
Number of bedrooms Parking spaces
per dwelling unit per dwelling unit
1 or less 1.5
2 1.75
3 2.0
4 and above 2.5
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 20th day of September, A.D. 1988, and to resented for
final passage on the 4th day of October, A.D. 19
