OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE
IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE CLEAN AIR COLORADO PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Council passed the Air Quality Action Plan for the purpose of implementing
strategies that_will_imprnve_air quality in Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the Clean Air Colorado Program is consistent with the goals and objectives
called out in the Air Quality Action Plan; and
WHEREAS, as part of the Clean Air Colorado Program, the City will receive a State grant
in the amount of $27,000 to carry out a specific work program of air quality education, special
projects, and data collection; and
WHEREAS, Article V,Section 14 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits the City
Council to appropriate by ordinance unanticipated revenue which is the result of rate or fee increases
or new revenue sources at any time during the year in which such revenue is received.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated,upon receipt,from unanticipated revenue in the General
Fund the sum of TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($27,000), for expenditure in the
General Fund for air quality education, special projects, and data collection.
