OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ADOPTING THE "NEIGHBORHOOD CHARACTER
DESIGN STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES FOR THE
EASTSIDE AND WESTSIDE NEIGHBOIU40ODS IN FORT COLLINS"
WHEREAS, the Council, pursuant to Resolution 86-58, adopted the Easts' e Neighborhood
Plan and incorporated said plan into the Comprehensive Plan of the City; an
WHEREAS, the Council, pursuant to Resolution 89-135 adopted the Westside
Neighborhood Plan and incorporated said plan into the Comprehens' e Plan of the City; and
WHEREAS, in pursuance of the policies establishe in the aforesaid Plans, certain
"Neighborhood Character Design Standards and Guideli s for the Eastside and Westside
Neighborhoods in Fort Collins" ("the Standards and Guid roes") have been prepared; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution PZ95-15,the Plan ng and Zoning Board has recommended that
the City Council adopt the Standards and Guidelit s; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determ' ed that the proposed Standards and Guidelines would
be a valuable tool in promoting the obje Ives of the Plans; and
WHEREAS, the Council h further determined that it is in the best interest of the citizens
of the City that the Standards an --Guidelines be adopted forimplemunlation and enforcement.
NOW, THEREFO , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Neigh rhood Character Design Standards and Guidelines for the Eastside and
Westside Neighborhoo . in Fort Collins be and hereby are adopted as a tool for furthering the goals
of the Eastside Nei orhood Plan and the Westside Neighborhood Plan by implementation and
enforcement purs nt to the applicable provisions of the Code of the City.
Intro ced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 15th day of
August, A . 1995, and to be presented for final passage on the 5th day of September, A.D. 1995.
