OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING SECTIONS 2-34 AND 2-74 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
REGARDING THE PLACE OF POSTING OF PUBLIC NOTICES
WHEREAS, Council adopted Ordinance-No: 91, 1992, designating the-second floor hall
lobby of City Hall West as the proper place for the posting of public notice of any meetings of the
City Council or City Council committees for which public notice is required to be given under the
provisions of the City Code; and
WHEREAS,the lobby of City Hall West has been remodeled and will now provide a more
accessible location for posting of such public meeting notices.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That Section 2-34 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be amended to read as
follows:
Sec. 2-34. Place of posting.
The Information Desk bulletin board in the lobby of City Hall West, 300 LaPorte
Avenue, shall be and the same hereby is designated as the proper place for the
posting of public notice of any meetings of the City Council or City Council
committees for which public notice is required to be given by the provisions of the
Code. The posting shall include, where possible, information about the availability
of agenda materials.
Section 2. That Section 2-74 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be amended to read as
follows:
Sec. 2-74. Place of posting.
The Information Desk bulletin board in the lobby of City Hall West, 300 LaPorte
Avenue, shall be and the same hereby is designated as the proper place for the
posting of public notice of any meetings of any city boards and commissions, or their
committees,for which public notice is required to be given by the provisions of the
Code. The posting shall include, where possible, information about the availability
of agenda_materials- The. chairperson- of each board- or commission- shall- be
responsible for the posting of such notice.
