OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS %
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE TRANSPORTATION
DIVISION PORTION OF THE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FUND
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BIKE LANES ON COUNTY ROAD 9
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14, of the Charter of the City,,of'Fort Collins
(the "Charter") authorizes the City Council to appropriate unantTcipated revenues
which are the result of new revenue sources at any time durip4 the year in which
such revenue is received; and //
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 905, on May 17, 1994,
authorizing the Mayor to enter into an intergovernmen 1 agreement between the
City of Fort Collins and the Colorado Department of Tr sportation (CDOT) for the,
receipt of Federal Enhancement Funds to be used to cgAstruct bike lanes on County
Road 9 between Horsetooth Road and Harmony Road; d
WHEREAS, the projected cost of the aforemeo ioned project is $162,662; and
WHEREAS, the City anticipates receivi g $116,639 in Federal Enhancement
Funds from the COOT, for the purpose of con tructing the said improvements; and
WHEREAS, the local matching funds fdr this project, totalling $46,023, are
already appropriated in the Transportatt on Division portion of the Engineering
Department minor capital budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIN BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that upon the City's receipt of the sum of ONE HUNDRED SIXTEEN THOUSAND SIX
HUNDRED THIRTY-NINE DOLLARS ($1 6,639) in Federal Enhancement Funds from the
Colorado Department of Transpor ation, said sum is appropriated for expenditure
from unanticipated revenue n the Transportation Division portion of the
Transportation Services Fun to be used to construct bike lanes on County Road
9, between Horsetooth Road and Harmony Road.
