OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE FROM THE
COLORADO DIVISION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE FOR THE FORT COLLINS
POLICE SERVICES' LARIMER COUNTY MULTI-JURISDICTIONAL PROJECT
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits the
Council to appropriate by ordinance unanticipated revenue which is the result of rate or fee increases
of new revenue sources at any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS,Fort Collins Police Services has been awarded a grant of federal money in the
amount of Forty-seven Thousand Dollars ($47,000) through the Colorado Division of Criminal
Justice; an&
WHEREAS,this grant requires Eighty-five Thousand Fifty-four Dollars ($85,054) of City
matching funds, which funds are included in Police Services' 1995 budget; and
WHEREAS,the grant and matching funds are to be used for the Fort Collins Police Services'
Larimer County Multi jurisdictional Project.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that, upon receipt, there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated grant revenue in the
General Fund the sum of Forty-seven Thousand Dollars ($47,000) for expenditure in the General
Fund for the Fort Collins Police Services' Larimer County Multi jurisdictional Project.
Introduced, considered favorable on first reading, and ordered published the 7th day of
February, A.D. 1995, and to be presented for final passage on the 21 st day of February, A.D. 1995.
