OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE GENERAL FUND
FOR THE LANDMARK REHABILITATION GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1994, the City Council adopted Resolution 94-114 establishing
a Landmark Rehabilitation Grant Program (the 'Program") for the calendar year 1994; and
WHEREAS, $20,000 to fund the Program was available in the Planning Department's
1994 budget; and
WHEREAS, due to staffing changes in the Planning Department the Program was never
started in 1994; and
WHEREAS, City Council has adopted Resolution 95-1 which establishes the Landmark
Rehabilitation Grant Program for 1995; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 7, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins authorizes the
City Council to provide by ordinance for payment of any expense from reserves accumulated in
prior years notwithstanding that such reserves were not appropriated for expenditure in the annual
appropriation ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the unspent Program funds from 1994 are available in prior year reserves to
be appropriated for the 1995 Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year reserves in the
General Fund the sum of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000) for the Landmark
Rehabilitation Grant Program.
