OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING EXCESS REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND
FOR TRAINING PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14 of the Charter authorizes the City Council ,
after expiration of eight (8) months of the budget year, to appropriate by
ordinance any actual revenue realized in excess of budget estimates to any
purpose recommended by the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, training revenue received in the General Fund from fees charged
to various City departments for classes and workshops provided by the City has
exceeded 1994 budget estimates by Ten Thousand Thirty-eight Dollars ($10,038) ;
and
WHEREAS, the Interim City Manager recommends the revenue be used to cover
the additional costs associated with the 1994 City training programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from training revenue received
in the General Fund, in excess of that which was originally estimated in the
budget, in the amount of Ten Thousand Thirty-eight Dollars ($10,038) for City
training program expenses.
