OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE
CULTURAL SERVICES & FACILITIES FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 7, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins
authorizes the City Council to provide by ordinance for the payment of any
expenses from reserves accumulated in prior years notwithstanding that such
reserves were not appropriated for expenditure in the annual appropriation
ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Cultural Services & Facilities Fund realized certain savings
from Lincoln Center operations at the end of 1993; and
WHEREAS, the foregoing savings are accounted for in the Cultural Services
& Facilities Fund, Lincoln Center Unreserved Fund Balance; and
WHEREAS, the Lincoln Center is requesting the use of these savings for
items that will enhance present service deliveries as well as ensure that current
service levels are maintained.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year reserves in the
Cultural Services & Facilities Fund the sum of TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED
FORTY DOLLARS ($29,340) to be used for equipment, maintenance, repairs, and other
items in connection with providing service at the Lincoln Center.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 2nd day of August, A.D. 1994, and to be presented for inal passage on the
16th day of August, A.D. 1994. f
