OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE OF $35,000
FOR THE LIBRARY'S ADULT LITERACY SERVICES
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins
authorizes the City Council to appropriate by ordinance unanticipated revenue
which is the result of rate or fee increases or new revenue sources at any time
during the year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS, the City will receive $35,000 in Library Services and Construction
Act Title VI funds from the United States Department of Education; and
WHEREAS, these funds will be used to continue the Library's Literacy
Services program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that, upon receipt of the Library Services and Construction Act Title VI funds,
there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in the General Fund the
sum of Thirty-five Thousand Dollars ($35,000) for the Library's Literacy Services
program.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 2nd day of August, A.D. 1994, and to be presented for final passage on the
16th day of August, A.D. 1994.
