OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF FORT COLLINS, BY CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR
CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS
VIPONT AT PROSPECT PARK EAST REZONING
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the character of development,
both existing and anticipated, in and around that property known as Vipont at
Prospect Park East has changed from heavy industrial to light industrial ; and
WHEREAS, the Council has accordingly determined that it is in the best
interest of the City that the zoning for Vipont at Prospect Park East be changed
from I-G, General Industrial to I-L, Limited Industrial .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1 . That the Council finds that the character of development, both
existing and anticipated, in and around that property known as Vipont at Prospect
Park East has changed from heavy industrial to light industrial .
Section 2. That the Zoning District Map adopted pursuant to Chapter 29
of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be, and the same hereby is, amended by
changing the zoning classification from I-G General Industrial , to I-L Limited
Industrial , for the following described property in the City known as Vipont at
Prospect Park East:
A tract of land located in the Northwest quarter of Section 20,
Township 7 North, Range 68 West of the Sixth P.M. , City of F or t
Collins, Colorado, and being that portion of a platted lot known as
Vipont at Prospect Park East which was replatted from Lots 1, 2, and
a part of 23, Prospect Industrial Park, containing 3. 1906 acres,
more or less.
Section 3. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to amend
said Zoning District Map in accordance with this Ordinance.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 15th day of January, A.D. 1991, and to be presented for final passage on
the 5th day of February, A.D. 1991.
