OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins is the owner of that certain parcel
of real property located in Larimer County, Colorado, legally described as
Lot 2, Block 4, Foothills Park Resubdivision (hereinafter "the Real
Property") ; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has previously entered into an Agreement of
Purchase and Sale of Real Property dated June 6, 1990, with Robert
Swanstrom, for the sale of the Real Property (hereinafter "the Agreement of
Purchase and Sale") ; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement of Purchase and Sale is contingent upon City
Council approval ; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds, in accordance with Section 23-111 of the
Code of the City of Fort Collins, that the sale of the Real Property is in
the best interests of the City of Fort Collins.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
1 . That the sale of the Real Property is in the best interests of the
City of Fort Collins.
2. That the Purchase and Sale Agreement is hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor be, and hereby is, authorized to execute a deed
conveying the Real Property to Robert Swanstrom pursuant to the terms of
the Agreement of Purchase and Sale.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 3rd day of July, A.D. 1990, and to be presented for final
passage on the 17th day of July, A.D. 1 90.
