ORDINANCE NO. 64, 1990
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE GENERAL FUND
AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS TO THE
RECREATION FUND AND THE CULTURAL SERVICES AND FACILITIES FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins authorizes the City Council to provide by ordinance for payment of
any expense from reserves accumulated in prior years, notwithstanding that
such reserves were not appropriated for expenditure in the annual
appropriation ordinance; and
WHEREAS, funds are needed for the replacement or upgrade of existing
personal computer equipment; and
WHEREAS, funds are also needed to provide replacement word processing
software for departments; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the General Fund Undesignated
reserves.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, as follows:
Section 1 . That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
undesignated prior year reserves in the General Fund the sum of ONE HUNDRED
FIFTY THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($153,800) for personal computer
hardware upgrades and the purchase of word processing software.
Section 2. That there is hereby appropriated from undesignated prior
year reserves in the General Fund the sum of TWO THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($2,700) for transfer to the Cultural Services and Facilities Fund
and expenditure therein for personal computer hardware upgrades and the
purchase of word processing software.
Section 3. That there is hereby appropriated from undesignated prior
year reserves in the General Fund the sum of EIGHTEEN THOUSAND THREE
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($18,300) for transfer to the Recreation Fund and
expenditure therein for personal computer hardware upgrades and the
purchase of word processing software.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 12th day of June, A.D. 1990, and to be presented for final
passage on the 3rd day of July, A.D. 191440
