OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE
IN THE LIBRARY GRANTS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue at any
time during the year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS, the Fort Collins Public Library has received a United States
Department of Education grant in the amount of $25,000 and Library Services
and Construction Act funds in the amount of $9,310; and
WHEREAS, these funds will be used to continue the adult literacy
activities at the library.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in the
Library Grants Fund the sum of THIRTY FOUR THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED TEN
DOLLARS ($34,310) for the continuation of the Library Adult Literacy
Program.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 15th day of September A.D. 1987, and to be presented for
final passage on the 6th day of October, A.D. 1987.
