HomeMy WebLinkAbout130 - 11/19/1991 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE STREETS DEPARTMENT PORTION OF THE TRANSPORTATION FUND ORDINANCE NO. 130 , 1991 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE STREETS DEPARTMENT PORTION OF THE TRANSPORTATION FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins authorizes the City Council to appropriate unanticipated revenues which are the result of new revenue sources at any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and WHEREAS, Council passed Resolution 91-139 on November 5, 1991 , authorizing the City to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the Colorado Department of Transportation for the receipt of Federal -Aid Urban Systems (FAUS) funds to provide for the upgrade of the City's pavement marking program; and WHEREAS, the City anticipates receiving $100,000 in FAUS funds for the upgrading of the City's pavement marking program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that upon the City's receipt of the sum of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($100,000) in Federal -Aid Urban Systems (FAUS) funds from the State of Colorado, said sum is appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue in the Streets Department portion of the Transportation Fund to provide for the upgrade of the City's pavement marking system.
