OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE
IN THE GENERAL FUND
FOR THE CLEAN AIR COLORADO PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins
permits the City Council to appropriate by ordinance unanticipated revenue which
is the result of rate or fee increases or new revenue sources at any time during
the year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS, Council passed Resolution 92-22 on February 4, 1992, authorizing
an intergovernmental agreement with the State of Colorado for the purpose of
implementing the Clean Air Colorado program in Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the City expects to receive a State grant in the amount of $30,000
to carry out a specific work program of air quality education and evaluation
projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that, upon receipt by the City of a THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLAR ($30,000) grant from
the State of Colorado for air quality education and evaluation projects, there
is hereby appropriated from unanticipated grant revenue the sum of THIRTY
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($30,000) , for expenditure in the General Fund for air quality
education and evaluation projects.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 18th day of February, A.D. 1992, and to be presented for final passage on
the 3rd day of March, A.D. 1992.
