OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE
IN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins
permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue which are a result of
rate of fee increases or new revenue sources at any time during the year in which
such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS, Fort Collins Police Services has been awarded a grant in the
amount of $12,792 from the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice; and
WHEREAS, Fort Collins Police Services has been awarded matching funds in
the amount of $10,780 from Poudre R-1 School District; and
WHEREAS, Fort Collins Police Services has been awarded funds in the amount
of $15,000 from T.E.A.M. Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, required City match funds for the grant have already been included
in the 1992 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in the General Fund
the sum of THIRTY-EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTY-TWO DOLLARS ($38,572) , for
the expenditure in the General Fund for the Fort Collins Police Services' Drug
Abuse Resistance Education Project.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 18th day of February, A.D. 1992, and to be presented for final passage on
the 3rd day of March, A.D. 1992.
