HomeMy WebLinkAbout137 - 01/05/1993 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE FROM FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY FOR EMERGENCY MANAGEMEN ORDINANCE NO. 137, 1992 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE FROM THE FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY FOR THE FORT COLLINS EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits the City Council to appropriate by ordinance unanticipated revenue which are the result of rate or fee increases or new revenue sources at any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and WHEREAS, Fort Collins Police Services has been awarded a grant in the amount of $10,665 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency; and WHEREAS, this grant requires $10,665 of City matching funds which are included in Police Services' 1992 budget; and WHEREAS, the grant and matching funds are to be used for the Fort Collins Police Services' Emergency Management Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that, upon receipt, there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated grant revenue in the General Fund the sum of Ten Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ($10,665) for expenditure in the General Fund for the Fort Collins Police Services' Emergency Management Program. Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 15th day of December, A.D. 1992, and to be presented for final passage on the 5th day of January, A.D. 1993.
