OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND
FOR THE FORT COLLINS PUBLIC LIBRARY ADULT LITERACY PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins
authorizes the City Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue which are the
result of rate or fee increases or new revenue sources at any time during the
budget year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS, the Fort Collins Public Library has been awarded a United States
Department of Education grant in the amount of Thirty-five Thousand Dollars
($35,000) for the continuation of adult literacy activities through 1993;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in the General Fund
the sum of Thirty-five Thousand Dollars ($35,000) for the adult literacy program
of the Fort Collins Public Library.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 6th day of October, A.D. 1992, and to be presented for final passage on the
20th day of October, A.D. 1992.
