OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE FROM THE
COLORADO DIVISION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE FOR THE FORT COLLINS
POLICE SERVICES' LARIMER COUNTY MULTI-JURISDICTIONAL PROJECT
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins
permits the Council to appropriate by ordinance unanticipated revenue which are
the result of rate or fee increases or new revenue sources at any time during the
year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS, Fort Collins Police Services has been awarded a grant in the
amount of One Hundred Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-eight Dollars
($113,468) from the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice; and
WHEREAS, this grant requires Seventy-three Thousand Fifty-six Dollars
($73,056) of City matching funds which are included in Police Services' 1993
budget; and
WHEREAS, the grant and matching funds are to be used for the Fort Collins
Police Services' Larimer County Multi -jurisdictional Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that, upon receipt, there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated grant revenue
in the General Fund the sum of One Hundred Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred
Sixty-eight Dollars ($113,468) , for expenditure in the General Fund for the Fort
Collins Police Services' Larimer County Multi-jurisdictional Project.
Introduced, considered favorable on first reading, and ordered published
this 6th day of October, A.D. 1992, and to be presented for final passage on the
20th day of October, A.D. 1992.
