OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING SECTIONS 26-512(3) AND 26-514(3)
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS RELATING TO THE
DETERMINATION OF STORM DRAINAGE FEES
WHEREAS, Section 26-512(3) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins provides
for the determination of stormwater basin fees by the Director of Utility
Services; and
WHEREAS, Section 26-514(3) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins provides
for the determination of rates and the establishment of stormwater utility fees
by the Director of Utility Services; and
WHEREAS, the Storm Drainage Board has reviewed the proposed 1992 budget
and recommends that Sections 26-512(3) and 26-514(3) of the Code of the City of
Fort Collins be amended to increase the stormwater basin fee base rates; and the
operations and maintenance base rate and the capital improvements base rates of
the stormwater utility fee; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that it
is in the best interests of the City that the aforesaid adjustments be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1 . That Section 26-512(3) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 26-512. Stormwater basin fees established.
(3) Basin Fee Base Rate. The stormwater basin fee base rate is
founded upon the estimated or actual cost of necessary
improvements and facilities identified in the various basin
master plans and is established for the basins as follows:

Section 2. That Section 26-514(3) (a) and (b) of the Code of the City of
Fort Collins is hereby amended as follows:
Sec. 26-514. Determination of stormwater utility fee.
(3) The base rate for the stormwater utility fee shall be as
follows:
a. The operations and maintenance base rate (0 and M base
rate) shall be $0.0005417 per square foot per month for
all areas of the city.
b. The capital improvements (IMP) base rate shall be as
follows:
