HomeMy WebLinkAbout113 - 10/15/1991 - AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP ORDINANCE NO. 113, 1991 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins does hereby declare that this Ordinance is supported by the findings and determinations of the Council as established pursuant to Resolution 91-126 of the Council of the City of Fort Collins dated September 17, 1991 . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1. That Subdivision 29-72, Zoning District Map, of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to conform to the districts and boundaries for the East and West Side Neighborhoods as shown on the East Side/West Side Rezonings Map, dated October 15, 1991 and the list of affected properties, dated October 15, 1991, which are adopted by this ordinance and made a part hereof by reference and are available for inspection at the City Clerk' s Office, 300 LaPorte Avenue, City Hall West, Fort Collins, Colorado. Section 2. That the zoning of the property located at 400 - 414 (Even numbered addresses only) of West Oak Street, 401-417 (Odd numbered addresses only) of West Mountain Avenue, and 101-199 (Odd numbered addresses only) of South Meldrum Street shall remain in the B-G, General Business, zone provided that the permitted uses shall be limited to the following: 1. Automobile repair, conducted inside a building 2. Banks, savings and loan and finance companies 3. Churches 4. Indoor theatres 5. Membership clubs 6. Multifamily dwellings 7. Offices and clinics 8. Parking lots 9. Parks and playgrounds 10. Personal service shops 11 . Printing and newspaper offices 12. Recreation uses 13. Standard restaurants 14. Retail stores 15. Public utility installations, excluding repair and storage facilities 16. Laundry and dry-cleaning outlets whose business consists primarily of serving retail customers 17. Public and private vocational and technical schools 18. Fraternity and sorority houses 19. Full -line pet shops not containing facilities for boarding animals 20. Small animal veterinary clinics 21 . Group homes 22. Single-family dwellings 23. Accessory buildings and uses 24. Any land use located on a Planned Unit Development plan as defined, processed and approved according to 29-526. Section 3. That the zoning of the property located at 424 - 428 Maple Street shall remain C Commercial , subject to the following limitations: a. Permitted uses shall be limited to the following: 1. Automobile repair 2. Frozen food lockers 3. Furniture upholstering 4. Offices & clinics 5. Parking lots & parking garages 6. Personal service shops 7. Plumbing, electrical & carpentry shops 8. Printing and newspaper offices 9. Retail stores 10. Warehouses & enclosed storage 11 . Assembly, packaging or installation of gauges, electric or electronic instruments & similar equipment & devices 12. Public and private vocational and technical schools 13. Multi-family uses 14. Any use allowed in the N-C-M zone through the process for use approval described in the N-C-M zone 15. Any land use located on a Planned Unit Development Plan as defined, processed and approved according to 29-526 b. Any outside storage which occurs as an accessory use to one of the above-referenced permitted uses must be screened from surrounding residential properties by opaque fencing and/or landscaping.
