OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE
RECREATION FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS TO THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
FOR MAJOR BUILDING MAINTENANCE AND APPROPRIATING THE
SAME IN THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, the City's Recreation Division has received $27,500 in
unanticipated revenue from the Anheuser-Busch Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the $27,500 represents the second half of the $55,000 total
donation from Anheuser-Busch to be used to make improvements to the
Northside Aztlan Community Center; and
WHEREAS, prior appropriations for improvements to the Northside Aztlan
Community Center have been collectively budgeted for expenditure from the
Capital Projects Fund Major Building Maintenance; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins (the "Charter") authorizes the City Council to appropriate
unanticipated revenue received at any time during the year; and to transfer
unexpended, appropriated amounts from one fund to another upon the
recommendation of the City Manager, provided that the purpose of the
initial expenditure of said funds no longer exists; and
WHEREAS, expenditures for improvements to the Northside Aztlan
Community Center will occur from the Capital Projects Fund and, as a
result, the purpose for the expenditure of this $27,500 from the Recreation
Fund no longer exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated
revenue in the Recreation Fund the sum of TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($27,500) for transfer to the Capital Projects Fund Major
Building Maintenance account.
Section 2. That TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($27,500)
is authorized for transfer from the Recreation Fund to the Capital Projects
Fund Major Building Maintenance account and appropriated therein for
improvements to the Northside Aztlan Community Center.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 18th day of September, A.D. 1990, and to be presented for
final passage on the 2nd day of October, P.D. 1990.
