HomeMy WebLinkAbout099 - 08/02/1988 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE SEWER FUND ORDINANCE NO. 99 , 1988 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE SEWER FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received at any time during the year; and WHEREAS, the City and County have heretofore entered into an agreement on August 5, 1987 for the design, construction, funding and scheduling for a Sanitary Waste Transfer Station; and WHEREAS, Larimer County has previously transferred $306,250 to the City for the estimated engineering, construction and start-up expenses for the Sanitary Waste Transfer Station; and WHEREAS, final estimates require an additional $26,458 to fully fund the project; and WHEREAS, Larimer County has agreed to transfer the additional $26,458 necessary to complete the project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue in the Sewer Fund the total sum of TWENTY-SIX THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-EIGHT DOLLARS ($26,458) for construction of a Sanitary Waste Transfer Station, said appropriation to be contingent upon the transfer to the City of $26,458 from Larimer County. Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 19th day of July, A.D. 1988, and to be presented for final passage on the 2nd day of August, A.D. 1988.
