OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE
IN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins authorizes the City Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue at
any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS, Police Services has been awarded a grant in the amount of
$7,095 from Colorado's Eight Judicial District Victims and Law Enforcement
Fund (VALE) Board; and
WHEREAS, this grant was approved as a joint venture between Fort
Collins Police Services, Colorado State Police Department, and the Larimer
County Sheriff's Department; and
WHEREAS, these funds will be managed by the Fort Collins Police
Services Investigative Division and used to purchase computer hardware and
software that will be used to make composite drawings of crime suspects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in the
General Fund the sum of SEVEN THOUSAND NINETY-FIVE DOLLARS ($7,095) for the
purchase of hardware and software to aid Police Services in making
composite drawings of crime suspects.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 5th day of July, A.D. 1988, and to be presented for final
passage on the 19th day of July, A.D. 1988.
