HomeMy WebLinkAbout072 - 05/17/1988 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FUND AND AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF ORDINANCE NO. 72 , 1988 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FUND AND AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FUND WHEREAS, the City wishes to provide commuter assistance to the residents of Fort Collins and Larimer County; and WHEREAS, Article V, Sections 8 and 15 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins authorize City Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue at any time during the year in which such revenue is received and to transfer unexpended, appropriated amounts from one fund to another; and WHEREAS, the City has received a grant from the State of Colorado for operating expenses associated with the Commuter Pool . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue in the Transportation Services Fund the sum of TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($10,000) for operating expenses associated with the Commuter Pool . Section 2. That the sum of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000) is hereby authorized for transfer from existing appropriations in the General Fund to the Transportation Services Fund and appropriated for expenditure in the Transportation Services Fund for operating expenses associated with the Commuter Pool .
