OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING PRIOR
YEAR RESERVES IN THE WATER FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8 of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate prior year reserves at any time
such reserves are available; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase One Thousand Six Hundred Ten
(1,610) units of water of the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District
(CBT) and Two Hundred Fifty (250) shares of stock in the North Poudre
Irrigation Company; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Water Fund Reserves.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is appropriated for expenditure from prior year reserves
in the Water Fund the total sum of TWO MILLION ONE HUNDRED NINETY-SIX
THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($2,196,250) to purchase One Thousand
Six Hundred Ten (1,610) units of CBT water and Two Hundred Fifty (250)
shares of water in the North Poudre Irrigation Company.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 3rd day of May A.D. 1988, and to be pr s nted for final
passage on the 17th day of May, A.D. 1988.
