OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ANNEXING PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE
STRAUSS CABIN FIRST ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the area to be annexed is solely owned by the City and is not
solely a public street or right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has found and
determined and does hereby find and determine that it is in the best
interests of the City of Fort Collins to annex said area to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That the following described property, to wit:
A tract of land situate in the Northwest Quarter of Section 27
and the Northeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 7 North, Range
68 West of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado which
considering the North line of the Northwest Quarter of Section 27
as bearing S 89°55'36" E and with all bearings contained herein
relative thereto is contained within the boundary lines which
begin at the Northwest corner of Section 27 and run thence along
the North line of Section 27 S 89°55'36" E 344. 16 feet; thence
S 13056'28" W 1801 .77 feet; thence N 15°25'11" W 400.00 feet;
thence N 39025'19" W 349.05 feet; thence N 79050'09" W 408.29
feet; thence S 56051'25" W 590.37 feet; thence N 00°25'22" E
304 . 58 feet ; thence N 64 °07 ' 27" E 584 . 36 feet ; thence
S 85°31'53" E 461 .48 feet; thence N 30°46'33" W 440.72 feet;
thence N 44°14'33" W 193. 13 feet; thence N 28°51'33" W 370. 18
feet to a point on the North line of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 28, thence along the North line of Section 28
S 88039'33" E 865.22 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and hereby is, annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of
said City, to be known as the Strauss Cabin First Annexation.
Section 2. That, in annexing said property to the City of Fort
Collins, the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting
the construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service
lines, streets or any other services or utilities in connection with the
property hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the
City of Fort Collins.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 19th day of April , A.D. 1988, and to be presented for final
passage on the 7th day of June, A.D. 1988.
