OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ANNEXING APPROXIMATELY 5.95 ACRES OF PROPERTY
KNOWN AS THE HOFFMAN MILL ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described below has been entirely
contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins for more than
three (3) year prior to this date; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Fort Collins to
annex said area to the City, as required by the terms of the Inter-
governmental Agreement between the City and Larimer County, Colorado, dated
August 3, 1983; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 87-51 setting forth the intent of the City Council
to annex said area has heretofore been adopted; and
WHEREAS, notice of this annexation has been given pursuant to the
annexation laws of the State of Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That the following described property:
A tract of land situated in the NW 1/4 of Section 18, Township 7
North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado.
Considering the North line of said Section 18 as bearing N 89*23'
00" E and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto,
beginning at a point on the Northerly right-of-way line of the
Colorado and Southern Railroad at a point which bears N 00013'00"
E 1393.00' and again N 88°53'00" E 287.48' from the West 1/4
corner of said Section 18, thence N 88°53'00" E 1034.82' , thence
S 01°07'00" E 162. 15' , thence S 21°33'25" W 443.44' to a point on
the said right-of-way line, thence along said right-of-way line
along a 8544.40' radius curve to the right a distance of
1036.44' , the long chord of which bears N 57°38'00" W 1035.84' to
the point of beginning.
The above described tract of land contains 5.95 acres more or
less.
be, and hereby is, annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of
said City, to be known as the Hoffman Mill Annexation.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort
Collins, the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting
the construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service
lines, streets or any other services or utilities in connection with the
territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the
City of Fort Collins.
Section 3. That no building permit shall be issued for any of the
lands herein described unless said lands have been zoned under the zoning
ordinances of the City.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 2nd day of June, A.D. 1987, and to be presented for final
passage on the 7th day of July, A.D. 1987.
