OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES
IN THE COMMUNICATIONS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins authorizes City Council to appropriate prior year reserves at any
time such reserves are available; and
WHEREAS, the Communications Fund provides Office Automation services
and will purchase computer hardware, software and support for the benefit
of various departments; and
WHEREAS, Accounting has indicated that prior year reserves, designated
for equipment replacement in the Communications Fund, are sufficient to
cover the appropriation for this expenditure of funds and to maintain the
required reserve balances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year
reserves in the Communications Fund the total sum of THIRTY-SEVEN THOUSAND
ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($37,145) for the purchase of computer
hardware, software and support.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 19th day of May, A.D. 1987, and to be presented for final
passage on the 2nd day of June, A.D. 1987.
