OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE BENEFITS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received
at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, vision insurance and universal life insurance were added to
our cafeteria benefits plan in 1987; and
WHEREAS, the revenue collected for 1987 for vision insurance will be
$10,000; and the revenue for the universal life insurance will be $11,500;
and
WHEREAS, such funds have been dedicated for Vision and Universal Life
Insurance Premiums.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
unanticipated revenue in the Benefits Fund the total sum of TWENTY-ONE
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($21,500) for payment of premiums for Vision
and Universal Life Insurance.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 19th day of May, A.D. 1987, and to be presented for final
passage on the 2nd day of June, A.D. 1987.
