HomeMy WebLinkAbout071 - 05/05/1987 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE MODEL CITY SAFETY BELT PROJECT ORDINANCE NO. 71, 1987 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received at any time during the year and which are a result of new revenue sources; and WHEREAS, the City has been awarded a grant totalling $5,000 from the Colorado Division of Highway Safety; and WHEREAS, such funds have been dedicated to the City's Model City Safety Belt Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue in the General Fund the sum of FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000) for the Model City Safety Belt Project.
