OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE
CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER
OF'APPROPRIATIONS BETWEEN rAPITAL PROJECTS
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue at any
time during the year in which such revenue is received and to transfer
appropriated amounts from one project to another project; and
WHEREAS, the City has been awarded a grant from the Colorado
Department of Highways Special Bridge Fund in the amount of $401,304 to
replace the existing bridge on Prospect Road over the Larimer County Canal
No. 2; and
WHEREAS, matching City funds in the amount of $100,326 are available
from savings in the Harmony Road Railroad Crossing project and the
Prospect-Shields to Taft Hill project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1 . That there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated
revenue in the Capital Projects Fund the sum of FOUR HUNDRED ONE THOUSAND
THREE HUNDRED FOUR DOLLARS ($401,304) to replace the existing bridge on
Prospect Road over the Larimer County Canal No. 2.
Section 2. That the following transfers of existing appropriations be
authorized:
FROM: Harmony Road Railroad Crossing $ 6,218
TO: Prospect Road Bridge over Larimer
County Canal No. 2 $ 6,218
FROM: Prospect-Shields to Taft Hill $94, 108
TO: Prospect Road Bridge over Larimer
County Canal No. 2 $94,108
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 21st day of April , A.D. 1987„and to be presented for final
passage on the 5th day of May, A.D. 1987.
